On Saturday 3rd November, Malmesbury was treated to a spectacular display of fireworks organised by the Malmesbury Firework Committee. Blount and Maslin’s owner, Keith Maslin is the chairman, and along with his committee organised and staged the event.
The event was held as normal at St Aldhelms Mead with a turnout of approximately 1500 people. They were treated to a gigantic bonfire and almost half an hour of fabulous fireworks, including some exciting new additions not seen in previous displays. As always families and friends appreciated the range of hot food and drinks that were available. In all, it was a fabulous night that really went off with a bang!
“Thank you so much to everyone who helped to stage this event. We had a wonderful evening and were blown away (thankfully not literally!!) by the fabulous display! Well done to you all” N.R
“Another great display – thank you all so much for all of the hours you willingly give up so that the town can enjoy this. It really is an event Malmesbury can be proud of!” M.K
All the profits from the event are distributed to local charities and good causes.
